Units Covered: Units 3, 4 and 5 

 

Within this project, JOT Ensemble will collaborate with local schools to produce a piece of theatre in education! Within this topic you will research and learn about the practical, theoretical and historical principles of theatre in education and how to engage a niche audience. You will devise a piece of multi-disciplinary performance based upon a topic provided through a live brief. You will be expected to research into your performance topic through a research task, pitch your groups performance in a professional presentation before devising and performing in numerous educational settings. The project will conclude by evaluating the effectiveness of the performance and overall devising process.
