Project 1- Creative Crafts and Careers
Covers: Units 1 and 2
For project 1 you will practically explore the different core techniques and principles applied within dancing, singing and acting. The aim of this unit is to develop new or existing skills to make you the most versatile and talented performer possible. While this project may push you out of your comfort zone, it aims to broaden creative possibilities. After exploring these 3 different practices, you will then begin to look at the different career possibilities within the Performance field to understanding opportunities beyond being a performer! Through workshops you will explore different jobs within the entertainment, informative and community sectors of the Performing Arts industries. You will then reflect upon the careers and your performance techniques and create a performance-based sharing that shows practical skills of a job you are interested in pursuing on your career pathway.
